Design directs line back on pulley and passes most parachutes
A product of 25 years of evolution, The TA-3 Turnaround is designed to minimize the chance of fouled lines by eliminating protrusions and sharp angles that can catch the line with a design that directs the towline back on the pulley even after an "over and back" line drop that can result from a no wind or downwind launch or an over zealous zoom. The wide roller width allows the passage of knots, tangles and weeds that would lock up a narrow pulley resulting in an aborted launch or worse. The ability to pass most parachutes simplifies setup and take down and in some cases may eliminate a walk to the turnaround. The rugged dual ball bearing design has very low rolling resistance and the inner bearing races are locked into place preventing the roller from contacting the flange . The roller is set 1/16" into the flanges. In the event cleaning is required, disassembly is easy Although designed to set flat on the ground, a tripod arraignment could be easily fabricated if desired.

Sometimes you need to get off the field in a hurry
That's when the ability to pass the chute through the turnaround is important.

Some reasons when you might need to pull the line in fast: Health Emergency - Lighting Storm - Mad Dog - Mad Landowner - Traffic - Heard of Cows - Heard of Sheep - Horse Back Riders - Bee Swarm - ATVs - Soccer Players - The Fuzz

LSF tasking sometimes requires creative winch set ups. While attempting the 10K I've had to set the towline across a road and pull it in when traffic needed to pass and it's never a good idea to leave the towline out unattended with livestock on the field.
Availability
It's my goal to keep all products in stock, however because of the machining time required for turnarounds, it's possible that a surge in orders could temporarily deplete my stock. In the event that an order can not be filled in a few days, I'll let you know and you can decide if you would like would like your payment returned or would like to be added to a notification list. A deposit will NOT be required to be added to the list.
